Keeler Brass Faux Key Pulls, Set of 4, French Provincial Escutcheon Backplates, Mock Key Ring Knobs, Vintage KBC Hardware K7163
$50.00
• Height/Width: 1 inches
• Length/Diameter: 3 5/9 inches
• Projection: 1 inches above surface
Ornate solid brass faux-key pulls by Keeler Brass Company. Each one is a two-piece assembly: a pierced French Provincial backplate with a mock key ring knob that screws through the center, giving you the look of a working keyhole escutcheon without the lock. A small detail that does a lot of work on a French or Rococo Revival piece.
WHAT YOU GET
- 4 available
- Solid brass
- Pierced French Provincial backplate with a mock key ring knob
- Made by Keeler Brass Company (KBC), stamped K7163 on the reverse
- Original screws AND nails included
CONDITION
Used, Good. The faces are bright with light tarnish. There is scattered pitting on the backs that is normal for their age and not visible once mounted. All shown in the photos.
ABOUT THIS PIECE
Estimated 1960s to 1970s. Keeler Brass of Grand Rapids supplied hardware to most of the major American furniture makers, and this pattern belongs to the French Provincial boom of that era.
WHY WE HAVE IT
Styled By Austin is a furniture refinishing company. Every piece of hardware we sell came off furniture that passed through our shop. Our goal is to keep it out of the landfill and give it a new home on your project instead.
