Oil Rubbed Bronze Ring Pulls, Set of 6, Dark Chippendale Batwing Drop Ring Handles, Black Vintage Cabinet Dresser Hardware

$20.00
These Oil Rubbed Bronze Chippendale handles are a unique find with drop ring pulls.

• Height/Width: 2 1/2 inches
• Length/Diameter: 3 1/7 inches
• Projection: 3/7 inches above surface

Chippendale batwing drop ring pulls in a dark oil-rubbed bronze rather than the usual brass, with a shaped tulip-form ring hanging from a quatrefoil winged plate. The blackened finish gives the plate a much moodier look, and it is a good fit for painted furniture, black or charcoal cabinetry, or a traditional piece you want to keep from feeling too golden.

WHAT YOU GET
- 6 available, all matching
- NOT solid brass (steel or pot metal with a dark antiqued finish)
- Stamped batwing backplate with a swinging cast drop ring
- Original screws are included but may not be the correct length of your project.

HOW IT MOUNTS
The ring hangs from a single post that passes through the square hole in the middle of the backplate and through your drawer front, held from behind with a cotter clip. Your drawer front needs a single hole for the post rather than the two round holes a bail pull uses.

CONDITION
Used, Good. Wear and tear from regular use, still fully functional. The dark finish has rubbed lighter on some high points and edges, letting warm brass tone show through, which is honestly part of the charm. All shown in the photos.

ABOUT THIS PIECE
Estimated 1960s to 1980s. Dark antiqued finishes on Chippendale patterns were popular in that stretch, particularly on Mediterranean and Spanish Revival furniture.

WHY WE HAVE IT
Styled By Austin is a furniture refinishing company. Every piece of hardware we sell came off furniture that passed through our shop. Our goal is to keep it out of the landfill and give it a new home on your project instead.
